Outobox, in collaboration with The Rebellion, have created a unique and once-in-a-lifetime experience for up to 16 REF members in the remote Norwegian archipelago of Lofoten.
Be ready to kayak with orcas (optional), hike incredible mountains, stay at incredible accommodations, and most importantly, push your own comfort zone, all while surrounded by nature.

Overview
Opprør is an REF custom experience hosted in The Lofoten Islands, a remote archipelago above the Norwegian Arctic line. This experience, a collaboration between Outobox and The Rebellion Experiences will have you explore and push your comfort zone in ways that will enable your true potential as a leader. Opprør is a once-in-a-lifetime week-long experience surrounded by nature for a limited group of adventurous REF leaders willing to better themselves in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, the Lofoten Islands.
What to Expect:
The daily goal is for you, as an attendee, to challenge yourself on different levels. You can look forward to a wide range of outdoor activities such as surfing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking in the fjords with orcas, and many more in some of the most amazing landscapes while entrenching yourself with local entrepreneurs in this Arctic paradise.
Led by inspirational renowned facilitators and guides, the 6 days you will share with The Rebellion team and REF peers will leave a lasting impact on you and your organization.
All experiences can be customized to adapt to the attendees' ability levels.

Is a deposit required?
Yes, the payment schedule is as follows:
50% of the total cost is required to be paid 60 days before experience start date.
The total cost is required to be covered by 30 days before experience start date.
A 5% discount will be applied to the total cost if deposit is paid before March 13th, 2025
Are there discounts for this experience?
Yes, we have the following discounts available based on attendance:
For individuals: if 10 or more members sign up, the overall price drops to $5,900 per attendee.
For couples: if 6 or more couple sign up, the overall price per couple drops to $8,800 per couple.
How do I qualify as a couple for this experience?
Simple. We count couples as folks bonded by family (siblings, partners/spouses), or in a relationship and will be hosted in rooms/accommodations with one bed.
What physical activity can be expected at the Experience?
During REF "Opprør" Experience some activities include some level of physical activity. Kayaking, Hiking, and Cycling (no experience needed) are part of this curriculum. Alternative options are available for those who prefer less physical sessions for all activities.
Can anyone register?
Only active REF members are able to register. As with all Experiences, there is a very limited number of attendees, and all applications must be accepted and approved. Remember, the spaces are assigned in a first come first serve basis.
What happens if the Experience gets canceled/postponed?
Due to the nature of these experiences, in some unforeseen circumstances, The Rebellion might decide to postpone or cancel an REF Experience. As an attendee, you agree to our cancellation policy and refund policy. Our goal is for every paid attendee to have options in case of a canceled or postponed experience.
What happens if the attendee cancels their attendance?
For this experience our cancellation policy for attendees is as follows:
60+ days before the experience – 75% refund
30+ days before the experience – 50% refund
Less than 30 days before the experience – No refund
Is there a minimum attendance policy?
Yes, for this experience we have a minimum of 8 attendees, or 6 couples. Although, we don't ever want or intend to cancel or postpone an experience due to low registration, having a minimum attendance is crucial for the experience to meet our standards. The Rebellion confirms the occurrence of this REF experience 30 days before the start of the experience with all paid attendees. We encourage all attending to plan accordingly. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for those traveling to the experience.
Registration Policies
Before applying to register your, please read our registration policy carefully as it contains important information regarding your participation in the experience. By registering for this Rebellion Experience, you acknowledge that your registration is subject to approval by REF, Outobox, and The Rebellion Experiences, and that once approved you are responsible for payments.
Travel Insurance
All attendees must obtain travel insurance before arrival to any Rebellion Experience. The attendee is responsible for taking out the necessary insurance. The Rebellion Experiences recommends that everyone considers obtaining a cancellation insurance in case of force majeure cancellations. The Rebellion can suggest options for insurance to all registered attendees.
